This extension has been seamlessly woven into your regular professional liability policy and provides reimbursement for legal expenses up to $30,000
per physician, per investigation, with a $1,000 deductible.
Other features of this innovative coverage include the following:
- The choice of using your own personal attorney or selecting from the ISMIE panel of attorneys.
- The ability to select a higher level of reimbursement for policyholders who want increased protection, for an additional premium.
This new policy exemplifies ISMIE’s unwavering commitment to continually developing value-added services to supplement our core professional liability insurance. For instance, ISMIE policyholders also receive the following coverages at no additional cost:
- Free Legal Expense Reimbursement for IDPR investigations up to $25,000 per policy period, with a $2,500 deductible.
- Free Defense Reimbursement coverage of $500 per day up to 10 days each policy period for attending trials and depositions (other than your own).
