Here are the steps that will put you on the path to earning a 5% Risk Rewards premium discount over two full policy years:

site to request the practice
assessment guidelines and
expectations booklet. It describes the processes, systems and practices ISMIE Mutual
will expect to find in full implementation when we visit your practice to conduct the survey.
Review the guidelines and expectations to make sure all the required elements applicable to your practice are in place.
Fill out the request for office assessment survey form located at the back of the booklet. Return the postage paid self-mailer to ISMIE Mutual via fax or mail. You will be contacted to confirm a survey date.

Risk Management Foundations: An Orientation Program for New Policyholders

Learn basic strategies to reduce your professional liability exposure and how to access risk management educational resources and staff support.
The program will be held at various locations across the state. Contact us to confirm dates and locations.
Physicians who become ISMIE Mutual policyholders for the first time in 2004 will qualify for a 5% Risk Rewards premium discount with the successful completion of the seminar during their first policy year. Existing policyholders may earn a 1% premium discount. This seminar is approved for 2.75 category 1 credits toward the AMA/PRA.

ISMIE Mutual – MedRisk® Courses

Take advantage of convenient online courses. “Risk Management Focus: The Complete Series” and “Risk Management Rounds” are for physicians of all specialties who want to sharpen their risk management skills. Courses that apply to particular specialties are also available, including Risk Management Rounds for anesthesiology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, psychiatry and radiology.
• A 2% Risk Rewards premium discount and category 1 CME credits may be earned for each course.
