Rates comparison article speaks highly of ISMIE Mutual’s lower rates

A well-respected insurance trade journal has published select rates that ISMIE’s competition
will surely take note of.

Crittenden’s Medical Insurance News™ reports in its February 5 issue that ISMIE’s 2006 rates
for internal medicine and OB/GYN are most often among the lowest in high-risk counties
and lower-risk jurisdictions, compared to rates charged by other leading professional liability
insurers in the Illinois market.

The article is yet another affirmation of ISMIE’s physician-led philosophy: We’re practicing physicians serving physicians. That means we offer the best medical liability protection at the fairest possible price. Period.

Policyholders on board with Risk Rewards in ’06
Participation in Risk Rewards activities increased by 11 percent in 2006 compared to 2005. Close to 60,000 Risk Rewards activities were completed by more than 6,800 policyholders.

Thirty-three percent of physicians who participated in Risk Rewards earned the maximum 15 percent discount, which will be applied to annual policy renewals beginning on or after July 1, 2007. Congratulations, doctors, for your dedication to managing your practice risk!
