Guarding Our Reform Law; Keeping Policyholders Informed

Although ISMIE remains confident that the medical litigation reform law will ultimately be upheld by the Illinois State Supreme Court, it could take two years before the final verdict validating the reforms is achieved. Until the court makes its decision, patient access to health care remains at risk and physicians continue to be vulnerable to a compromised legal climate.
