ISMIE Mutual recently mailed an important survey to all policyholders to assist in the fight
to uphold Illinois’ medical litigation reform law. All collected data will be analyzed to assess the impact that caps enacted in 2005 have had on patient access to medical care.

Dose of Reality Medicine Delivered to State Fair

Fair-goers who strolled through the Expo building at the Illinois State Fair found a few surprises courtesy of ISMIE and ISMS, who partnered to bring the Reality Medicine message to Springfield. To make appealing the serious directive to help Keep Doctors in Illinois, handouts for all age groups were available.

Activist wristbands, sunscreen, coloring books and posters were among the give-aways. Several policyholder and member physicians were on hand to chat with attendees. Citizens of all ages are on board with keeping their doctors in Illinois!
