Lead Counsel in Defense of Reform Law Speaks Out

Former U.S. Solicitor General Theodore B. Olson leads the ISMIE Mutual and ISMS legal team in the fight to uphold the constitutionality of our medical lawsuit reform law, now on its way to the Illinois State Supreme Court. Mr. Olson, pictured here (left) with ISMIE Mutual Chairman Harold L. Jensen, MD (right), spoke to a packed room of physicians last month at the ISMIE sponsored luncheon at the 2008 ISMS House of Delegates in Oak Brook. Mr. Olson discussed how the team is building a compelling case in support of the reform law. Here are select comments from his remarks.
