“Last call” for ’08 medical license renewal!

Still need to renew your medical license? The deadline to renew with the Illinois Department
of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is July 31, 2008.

Important: For this licensure cycle, you must first complete the IDFPR-required online physician profile before renewing your medical license. Also, if you selfrenew your medical license online, additional steps are required to renew your controlled substance license(s). For more information, visit www.ismie.com.

Remain active as a Fellow, continue 10% premium discount

If you have successfully completed the Fellowship Program in 2006, you are eligible to participate in the “Fellowship Continuing Recognition Program.” Successful completion of this program, which includes completing two online courses and taking an exam, will earn you a 10% Fellowship premium discount for another two years!

Schedule your first office assessment

Request your first office assessment before Sept. 1, 2008, and become eligible to earn a 5% premium discount for two policy years without leaving your office! The assessment offers a great opportunity to learn whether you are using the most current and effective risk management practices.

How to get started First-time participants who wish to schedule this Risk Rewards activity in calendar year 2008 must mail or fax a completed “Request for Office Assessment Survey” form to ISMIE by Sept. 1.

The form is included in “Practice Assessment Guidelines and Expectations,” a booklet that you can download at www.ismie.com or request by calling the Risk Management Division, 800-782-4767 ext. 1627.
