A New Way to Communicate with
ISMIE Policyholders

With the introduction of this quarterly newsletter, ISMIE is unveiling the first component of a multifaceted communications plan designed to better meet policyholders’ diverse needs. This communications strategy will encompass newsletters, faxes, e-mails and a new World Wide Web site.

Our quarterly ISMIE newsletter will contain information relevant to ISMIE policyholders, presented in a concise, easy-to-read format on several topics, including:
! Legal updates
! Company-specific information
! ISMIE coverages/enhancements
! Clarifications of policy provisions
! Notices of upcoming ISMIE seminars and events
! CME opportunities

In addition, new targeted newsletters will address issues of interest that are directed at particular practice demographics such as specialties, practice locations and practice types. This way, ISMIE can address all physicians’ specific information and insurance needs.

ISMIE Web site launched

A major component of the communications plan is the debut of the ISMIE Web site at www.ismie.com where policyholders can receive information about ISMIE’s coverages, products and services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An interactive format will allow policyholders – through the click of their mouse – to receive e-mail updates about new Web site features, current seminar listings and more.

Web site features will include:
! Description of ISMIE coverages
! On-line Qwik Quotes
! Access to underwriting forms such as:
     Reporting Changes In Your Practice
     Part-Time Rating Evaluation
     Applications for ISMIE Policies
! On-line reporting of an investigation, claim or lawsuit
! On-line listing and registration for risk management seminars
! News
! The ability to contact ISMIE via e-mail

ISMIE’s new communication strategy was implemented after considerable thought and discussion on how ISMIE could best demonstrate our commitment to Physician-First Service. Therefore, this new communications plan incorporates elements that our policyholders told us they wanted and needed: prompt access to important information, in a convenient format, when it matters most.
