New for 2010, this program replaces the Risk Rewards Program of years past
When the innovative Managing Risk – Risk Rewards program was unveiled in 2004, ISMIE Mutual pledged to continuously expand and improve the ways in which policyholders could manage their risk while earning liability insurance premium discounts.
Drum roll, please: Now, in keeping with ISMIE’s goal to be the best in the world at helping physicians manage their risk and reducing the threat of medical liability lawsuits, ISMIE is proud to introduce its new Managing Risk Partnership Program.
The program is a new model, offering policyholders two levels of participation, and replaces the Risk Rewards program of years past. These options are specially designed for busy physicians who are committed to managing their risk.
Option 1
The Premier Partner option allows policyholders to earn a 15% premium discount for two policy years by:

Successfully completing the Fellowship curriculum and passing the Fellowship exam.

Scheduling and successfully completing a Practice Assessment.
Please Note:
In 2010, the only way to earn a 15% premium discount is by successfully completing
both the Fellowship Program and a Practice Assessment.
Option 2
The Partner option allows policyholders to earn up to a maximum 10% premium discount annually by completing any of these Managing Risk activities:

Due to high demand and the considerable time commitment involved, requests for Practice Assessments for 2010 must be submitted by April 1. To request your Practice Assessment, please visit www.ismie.com or call 800-782-4767 ext. 3300.
A guidebook detailing the new Managing Risk Partnership Program is currently being mailed to all policyholders.
