Ask Your U.S. Representative to Co-Sponsor COVID-19 Liability Protections
August 24, 2021
Bipartisan federal legislation has been introduced to provide uniform liability protection to medical professionals and facilities on the front lines of the pandemic.
Please urge your Representative to co-sponsor H.R. 3021, the Coronavirus Provider Protection Act. Please note that this is related to COVID-19 only and is not a permanent, across-the-board medical liability protection.
H.R. 3021 is an initiative of the Health Coalition on Liability and Access (HCLA), which ISMIE backs as a member organization. If enacted, this bill would also curb legal challenges to state executive orders and legislation providing liability protection.
