ISMIE offers eligible policyholders of all practice sizes the opportunity to undergo a risk assessment, which includes personalized feedback and recommendations to help address any potential issues.
Taking the time to develop – and regularly review – risk management strategies can go a long way toward not only reducing liability exposures, but more importantly, helping to provide excellent medical care and keeping patients safe. The assessment evaluates key risk management and patient safety areas of how processes and systems in your practice or facility function on a day-to-day basis.
Our Risk Management staff are busy contacting those who were assessed in 2021 to determine if they are once again interested in participating in our voluntary risk assessment program. Please note that anyone new to clinics that participated in our clinic risk assessment in 2022 will not need to be assessed in 2023.
Eligible policyholders who wish to participate in our risk assessment program in 2023 are encouraged to submit a request by our priority deadline of July 1.
