ISMIE Boosts Cyber Liability Coverage for Illinois Policyholders in 2024

Already offering robust cyber liability coverage at no additional cost for policyholders, ISMIE is adding new enhancements next year!

Starting Jan. 1, 2024, ISMIE’s Illinois policyholders will receive the following coverage enhancements, even if their policy does not renew until later in the year:

Reputational Loss Coverage: This new coverage protects your lost revenue should your reputation be damaged as the result of a data breach.

Business Interruption Coverage: Loss of income following a security breach is now covered for an extended period of 120 days.

Media Liability: The scope of coverage for claims arising from information published on your website or social media accounts has been broadened.

Simplified Endorsement: The cyber and healthcare regulatory liability endorsement is more concise, user-friendly, and the aggregate limit for breach response is now a dollar amount instead of a specified number of notifications to be sent.

In addition to the generous basic limits, policyholders can increase their cyber liability protection with higher limits. ISMIE Mutual offers flexible pricing options for individual physicians and groups.
